Nature has endowed us with gifts infinite. You can find everything in nature - the remedy of every qualm, the secret of every mystery, the mechanics of every movement - but only if we look close enough.
There are so many things in nature that it is difficult to know about each wonder of nature so let me tell you about one such wonder – Bamboo.
Bamboo aka "the tree of life". Its nickname only signifies how many gifts this plant must hold for us. And trust me, its name is not given in vain.
To give you an idea of its magnanimity, let me give a brief recount about the plant.
What is bamboo?
A very common misconception about bamboo is that it is a tree. Bamboo is in fact a grass. Yep, a grass.
Bamboo is a group of woody perennial grasses in the true grass family Poaceae, which is a large family with over 10,000 species.
The species of bamboo that we know today evolved from prehistoric grasses between thirty and forty million years ago, long after the extinction of the dinosaurs.
I will give you some time to absorb the fact that bamboo is indeed a grass and lets explore more about this in coming blogs.
